Murphy, age 61, of Elmhurst, proud owner of Pacific General Insurance Agency, Oak Brook; member Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity; beloved husband of Christe, nee Novak; loving father of Tyler Scott (Rachel Cipich), Sean Patrick and Zachery Ryan (Angie Schuman) Murphy; dear brother of Christopher and Joseph (Sheryl) Murphy and brother-in-law of Todd Novak; cherished son of Rochelle, nee LeCompte and the late Norbert Murphy; fond uncle of Amanda (Patrick) McGovern, J.P. (Jules), Quinn, Olivia and Madison Murphy and Gavin and Aiden Novak. Visitation Sunday, April 13, 2025, 1:00 p.m. until time of prayer and remembrances 3:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.     Pat and I worked together selling Tow Truck Insurance. He was legend at this trade- I brought him into. Robertson Ryan Insurance, he was such a valuable asset to us in so many ways. He will really be missed but his legacy and Agency will continue. God speed Pat- your contributions to the world were not unnoticed .
