Debra Ann Cassidy

Debra Ann Cassidy, age 68, of Berkeley; passed away at her home surrounded and supported by family and friends following her courageous battle with Cancer; Debbie was the devoted sister of James (Delores), Richard (Barbara), Kenneth (Diane) and the late Thomas and Denise Cassidy; cherished daughter of the late Dorothy and the late Walter Cassidy; fond aunt and great-aunt of many and dear friend of so many. Debbie was an Alumna of Queen of the Universe Grade School and Lourdes High School (‘74), member of IBEW Locals 21 and 165 for over 40 years until retirement in 2019; Debbie enjoyed playing and coaching softball and in her retirement years spending quality time with family, friends and her dogs. Visitation Friday, December 6, 2024, 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Debbie will be laid to rest alongside her sister Denise and brother Tom at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park. Interment will be private.
