Freeman “Pete” Thomas, age 79, of Bensenville, passed away November 12, 2024,  Retired Pace Bus Driver, West Division with over 36 years of service; beloved husband of Sherry, nee Passarella; proud father of Justin (Rossella), Niccole and Jennifer (Rashid Amusa) Passarella and Kylin Thomas; cherished grandad of Nico, Maggio, Luciano, Giovanni, Kai, Wynter, Arianna, Delilah and Emiliana; dear friend and “Pops” of many. Pete’s love for blues music and dance were a huge part of his life. He also loved a good game of pool and to always be the welcoming smile to friends and strangers.
