Mark A.  Converse, Loving husband of Erin Converse, nee Allison; Devoted father of Claire and Meredith Converse; Cherished son of Patricia Parisi and Bert (Pat) Converse; Adored brother of Angela (Sam) Margelos and Nancy (Darryl)Schlegel; Dear son in law of Richard (Carolyn) Allison. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Street (1/2 mile North of Saint Charles Road) Elmhurst. Family and friends to meet Thursday, September 19, 2024, for a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. at  Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S.     Erin, Claire, Meredith- my sincere condolences on the passing of Mark. Mark truly brought a radiant presence to the room when he walked in. He was such a pleasure to be around, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. Mark loved his family so much and providing for his girls was so very important to him. I’m honored to have said I knew Mark Converse. My prayers are with you all during this time.

As an athlete, he was one of the finest players in the Chicago Catholic league, but his real strength was in his personality and his fun attitude toward life-he was a joy to be around each day-Mark Converse was special!
