McDonald Council, Elmhurst; 30 year member Elmhurst American Legion, Post #187; Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Alice, nee Shields for over 45 years and the late Charlotte M. Rakos for over 21 years; devoted father of Patricia E. (Barry) Scanlon, James A. (June) Powers, Paul J. Powers, John J. (Therese) Powers and the late Thomas E. Powers; cherished grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 8.
