Rosita Ress Butler, age 80, native of Schaafheim/Mosbach, Germany, long time resident of Douglas, MI; Beloved wife of John Butler for 60 years; loving mother of Michael, John and Barbie Butler; Cherished Grandmother of Michael Jr, Matthew Butler, Jack, Patrick, Teddy Butler, Meghan (William) English and Ryan Meagher; Dear sister of the late Doris Ress. Devoted Daughter of the late Theodor and the late Maria Ress; Sister in Law of Judith Butler, Daniel (Audeline) Butler, James (Marianne Lynch) Butler, Mary Alice (the late Thomas) Coffey, Jane (the late Francis) Connors, and the late Michael Butler, Steve (Dawn) Butler and Francis (Beth) Butler and former sister-in-law of Dianne Butler; Fond Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Rosita will be remembered for her unconditional love and support to all. She touched the lives of many both professionally and socially. Her greatest joys in life were cooking, sharing meals and stories at the kitchen table and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
