Thomas James Armstrong

Thomas James Armstrong, age 64, of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully on October 22nd surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his wife, Mary, nee Shepard, his children, Mary Elizabeth (Jason) Noble, John Richard, Daniel Thomas and Kathleen Rose Armstrong; his cherished grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth, Declan Ryan, Isobel Virginia and Luke Thomas Noble. Born to Elizabeth, nee Cloyd, and the late Jack Armstrong in Detroit, Michigan, he grew up in a very loving family. His brothers, Jack (Terrrie) and Bob (Korrie) Armstrong, Julie (the late Ray) Norton and Joan Patterson. Tom will be missed by his dear family and friends near and far, his many nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law and friend, Chuck Cloutier and sister-in-law, JoAnne (Shepard) Cloutier. Tom was a dedicated and loyal former employee of Tree Towns Reprographics for nearly 40 years. A Celebration of Life is being planned by the family.     My condolences to Mary and their children. Even though we hadn’t seen each other in years it is tough when you loose someone you grew up with as a next door neighbor. I’ll always remember Tom as a loyal member of our field gang who wouldn’t back down from anyone and would always have our backs.
