Audrey J. Hobday

Audrey J. Hobday, nee Lavine, born in Forest Park, IL passed peacefully away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 92 at Bella Terra in Elmhurst, IL. She leaves a large family and many friends.     I worked with Audrey at Roosevelt Junior High School while she was an administrative assistant there. I left in 1990, but we kept in touch with Christmas cards. The last year or so I haven’t heard from her and my card wasn’t returned, so I hoped she was still able to get my message. Imagine my sadness this morning when her card was found in my mailbox. Audrey was such a great coworker and very efficient! I still have a memory of her behind the desk between the principal and assistant principal offices, her red hair always looking beautiful. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. Even though we hadn’t seen each other in decades, I will miss knowing that she is there. Heaven has another angel:)
