William D. Cronin Sr, age 88, longtime resident of Elmhurst and Lake Geneva, WI, member of HOC and LGBA; beloved husband of the late Sheila Ann, nee Sullivan; loving father of Cathleen (Patrick) Clarke, Brian (Christine) Cronin and the late Capt. William D. Cronin, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Lauren (Bill) O’Connor, Colleen, Eileen and Grace Clarke and Erin and Daniel Cronin; dear brother of the late Robert J. (the late Mary Ann) Cronin, Sr.; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
