I’m saddened to learn of Mary’s death. My sincere condolences to Mike, Michael, Bridget, to Mary’s sisters and to her entire family. I knew Mary as a sweet, funny, fun-loving girl and as a lovely woman. I’ll always hold her memory with fondness. Rest in peace, Mary.

My deepest sympathies to Mary’s family. She is already missed. I have a space in my heart that will forever be empty. In my mind I see a lot of laughs in our lives. We have been friends since first grade. I am sure my childhood, my teenage years and growing old would have been very different without my sidekick through life. No one could make me laugh like her. Let’s hold on to those memories.

I offer my sincere condolences to all of you on your loss. I didn’t know Mary but she must have been a wonderful person because it certainly showed through in her daughter. May God provide comfort and strength to all of you in this time of mourning. I will certainly pray for that.

My Aunt Mary was the most thoughtful, giving, and loving person you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. She always treated me like I was one of her own children and I know my five brothers and sisters feel the same way. She would frequently reach out to me to check in and see how things were going and she and Mike have helped me through several tough times in the past. We’ve all heard the expression before but, she and Mike are truly one of a kind.

Her sharp Irish wit and love for laughter were priceless. I loved making her laugh. It made me feel so good and I know she enjoyed it too. Her style and fashion sense were impeccable. Always. Every time I saw her.

She was an incredible wife, partner, friend and Mom in addition to being a wonderful sister to my Mom and my aunts. Michael and Bridget are excellent, beautiful adults and they are both a direct reflection of how great she was as a Mom.

Her passing leaves a huge hole in our lives and hearts that can only be somewhat filled by the great, treasured memories that we all have of her. I am taking a moment now to think back to all the times we spent laughing together and that’s helping a lot. I’m sure I’m not alone in that feeling.

Thank you to everyone who has posted their thoughts here or may post in the future. Your words mean so much to our family and are really appreciated.

I love you so, so much Aunt Mary and will always miss you.

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Our gal Mary! For 65 years, i met her in 2nd grade, she has left insurmountable memories that will remain in my heart. Her kindness, love, contagious laughter and especially her quirkiness left an indelible mark on everyone she met and loved. She was certainly one of a kind.
Her unconditional love and devotion to her family was always her first priority and when they would bring her a coke and burger she would love them even more!.
Miss you my dear friend. May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

It was so good to see Mary, Mike, and Bridget at the family reunion two years ago. Mary was such a sweet person and so easy to talk to. When I heard the news it seemed so sudden. She will be missed, truly. My heart goes out to the family. From my family to yours, prayers at this time.– Georgiann
