Joyce Ann Mikulak

Joyce Ann Milulak, nee Wetterau, age 80, of Marco Island, FL, passed away after a battle with cancer; beloved wife of the late John P.; loving mother of John (Paula) and Robert (Susan); proud grandmother of Maxwell, Evan and Amelia; dear sister of John (Pat) Wetterau and the late Lewis, Fred and James Wetterau and Jane Reilly; cherished daughter of the late Margaret and Frederick Wetterau. Joyce was a native of McAdoo, PA and graduated from McAdoo High School, Class of 1958. After graduation, she entered Nursing School at Hazleton State General Hospital, where she earned her diploma in Nursing in 1961. She earned a specialization in Ophthalmology and served as a registered nurse at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA from 1961-1965 but kept her registered nurse status active for much of her life. During her life, Joyce lived in many locations throughout the United States. She traveled extensively throughout the country and the world and was proud of the fact that she had visited all 50 states. She was also an accomplished water colorist, art enthusiast and collector, and livelong movie fan whose tastes ranged from the films of Ingmar Bergman and Federico Fellini to more modern favorites like Moonstruck.
