McCarthy, of Chicago, beloved twin brother of Patrick; cherished son of the late Joseph and the late Margaret, nee Joyce; loving member of the Joyce, McCarthy, Andrews and McGovern extended families. John loved music especially The Beatles, classic movies, history, space exploration, and art. He was a joy to his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
