Dorothy M. Kulpaka

Dorothy Mae Kulpaka, nee Antczak, age 91, longtime resident of Elmhurst, beloved wife of Thaddeus “Ted” for almost 70 years; loving mother of Kerry (Cathy), Karen, Bob (Janelle), LuAnn Dockery, Michael (Ann), Bill and the late Dennis Kulpaka. Proud grandmother of Robert, Krissie (Andy) Pedroza, Kathy (Eric) Cundiff, Teresa (Steve) Dubose, Hannah Lehman, Carly Dockery, and Holli Kulpaka. Great Grandma “Gigi”, to Jocelyn, Andy, Ellie, Gracie, Abby Mae, Cameron, Layla, Will and the late Matthew Cundiff. She also was a dear companion to her caretaker for the last 5 years, Sheila Lang as well as proud Mamma to her beloved pup, “Buddy”. Dorothy was selfless and genuine. She was outspoken and kind. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her family strong values that have served them well. Doddie was the founder of the “ILKNAPS”. She loved playing bingo, pulling slots, and banging the pots and pans through the neighborhood on New Years Eve. She also was a loyal advocate for the Ray Graham Association. Her favorite memories were spending family time at the River Forest Country Club and the Ocean Reef Club. While we all share a deep sorrow with the loss of our loving and devoted Dorothy, we take comfort in the memories we have of her and the lessons she taught us. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services and Interment are private at this time.
