I am so sorry to learn of Ken’s passing. In my mind, he was a larger-than-life figure with an unforgettable, magnetic personality. Gregarious by nature, he was also keenly intelligent, highly creative, and extremely witty. For many years, Ken found success in the fiercely competitive sphere of big-time advertising agencies in Chicago. Perhaps more important, Ken was a deeply loyal friend who would go out of his way to help others and sought to make our world a better place. He will be greatly missed.

Ken was an unforgettable high school friend. Though we lost touch with each others lives after college, I thought of him many times over the years. As recently as two years ago when our youngest son and his wife selected the name Ken for our younger grandson‘s middle name, I was able to tell them fondly about a creative, bigger than life, hi school lunch table buddy of the same name. Rest peacefully, “Ol Bailey.”

It was with shock and great sadness that I heard of Ken’s passing. As others have said, he was larger-than-life and I cannot remember great times in high school without thinking of Ken at football or basketball games, at speech tournaments, or just hanging out with with Leonard. We will all miss you.
