Patricia Ann Kuta

Patricia Ann Kuta, nee Knauer, age 75, beloved wife of Michael; loving mother of Jennifer (Daniel) Leahy; proud grandmother of Connon, Madigan and Sean; dear sister of Carolyn Mahon, Eugene Knauer and Arminda Damery and sister-in-law to Andrea Adams and Robert Kuta; fond aunt of 14, great-aunt of 25, great-great aunt of 25; and doting Grandma to her grand-pup Hunter. Her love for others extended beyond her own family to include the Leahy family, their spouses and their children; who affectionately called her Grandma Pat.  She embraced anyone she met through the family, and that loving attitude served to make her Grandma Pat to so many others as well.  Patricia was a vibrant personality who loved sewing, crocheting, cooking, completing crossword puzzles, dancing, playing Candy Crush, volunteering and listening to Elvis music. She was a first grade teacher for over 30 years and positively impacted the lives of each and every student in her classroom.  Vacationing with her family brought her much joy, and many memories were created on trips with the Colliers, the Divas and other friends.  She was involved with many groups; including Church, Retiree and Book Club.  Every person who knew her has a fond memory or story to share from their time together.  She was strong in her Faith in God and now rests in His care. As a result of COVID guidelines and restrictions, the family will be keeping all services private. Memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s honor to the American Cancer Society, 225 N Michigan Ave , Ste 1200, Chicago, IL 60601. Aunt Pat was such a warm and loving lady. I know she is resting in Gods care and that gives me peace and comfort. I loved my aunt and her great laugh. Loved spending time going to garage sales with her, hanging out at the cabin or her and my Uncle seeing us in California for visits. My heart goes out to my cousin Jen, her husband and the grandkids. Uncle Mike has lost his forever sweetheart but I know she will watch over him and take care of him until they see each other again. You will be forever in my heart and in my memories. With much love.

Pat will be missed. I’m sure Mary and Pat have found each other and are reminiscing with a lot of laughter.

My name is Judy Baran. I am a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church ⛪️ since 1981. I unfortunately didn’t get to befriend this lovely lady, but I am sending prayers and my sympathy to her family.
I am the Parish Nurse of our church and under normal conditions probably may have visited her at her home or connected at church or by phone because of her having cancer and needing support.
Know that our congregation cares about you. Michael, you will be receiving grief booklets to comfort and share with your family as you transition through various stages of your loss. Our God is a great God and Pat is having a smiling, healthy, birthday in heaven! To see and be with Jesus is our ultimate goal! She is at peace and she is praying for each of your salvation and relationship with Jesus, so you can be reunited with Jesus and her someday!
    Blessings and prayers,
    Judy

Pat was a really nice lady. I worked with her on Alter Guild at Trinity in Genoa and other church functions.
She lived in Princeton for awhile and new my aunt Pat Rod. I often thought of Pat, she was a role model for all of us. She will be missed.
    Sincerely,
    Nigal Oleson

I just today learned of Pat’s passing. She was an active member of Genoa Community Women’s Club until her move. She was a great lady and a great member of our club. I loved her jewelry! On behalf of GCWC, we offer our sincere sympathy.
