Iris E. Wilkinson

Iris E. Wilkinson, age 86, resident of Elmhurst for over 62 years, Native of Montupe, Peru; active member of the American Legion Auxillary and Ladies of the Elks. Iris was a vibrant lady that loved to be a part of her community; beloved wife of the late Robert L.; loving mother of Joseph (Julia), Patricia (the late David) Edwards and Susan Williams; proud grandmother of Meggan (Jerome) Dubin, Robin (Justin) Sobel and Bryan Edwards and great-grandmother of 3.  In memory of Iris, flowers appreciated or  Masses requested at Visitation Catholic Church 779 South York Road, Elmhurst, IL 60126.     She could hold a room captivated.very out going just like my father.And it was that true passion and being real with everyone our parents wanted her family to remember her by.Robert and Iris were loving parents to family and church and most of all To there beloved community God bless them both.

    I was a friend of Iris’s for many years.I was so sorry to hear of her death. I will miss her at many of our functions we attended. She was a delight to be around! Full of vim and vigor. Rip my friend.
