Konkolewski, nee Gotto, age 95, of Elmhurst; beloved wife of the late Thomas; loving mother of Thomas (Carol) Konkol, Eileen (Robert) Rogacki and the late Karolyn Philippi; proud grandmother of Michael and Anthony Rogacki, Jeremy (Becky) Philippi, Sarah (Rob) Loureiro, Ashley Philippi and the late Kenneth Konkol; cherished great-grandmother of Katelin and Nicholas Rogacki and Lily and Lucas Loureiro; dear sister-in-law of Sylviann ( the late Edward) Konkolewski.     This is Wilbur Schenk Jr. Cousin of Helen Dietz? Helen was Ida Gotto;s daughter, my father, Wilbur Sr. and Ida were Brother/Sister. Ida was my Aunt on my Fathers side, Helen, her daughter was my Cousin, Florence was my 2nd cousin, once removed. Anyway, sorry we never stayed closer, and, sorry for your/our loss.. Chester and Walter, also brothers of Helen, were my cousins and Uncles of Flo.

      Thank you for your kind words. I was lucky to have my Mom this long even though she was in the nursing home here in Elmhurst for 11 years. We talked a lot about everything/everyone and especially Wisconsin too. I still have pictures of your Dad up at the cabins. You look just like your Dad (saw that on Facebook.) I hope your brother Ken is doing well too. My Mom (Florence) and Helen were sisters, and my Mom’s brothers were Walter and Chester. You can see some Wisconsin pictures on the video on this website. I can see your Dad too in one of the pictures. I hear sometimes from Fritz Dietz (my cousin and son of my Aunt Helen Dietz) Again thank you for your kind words and I hope everyone is staying safe at this time.

        Saw your mother’s notice and could not help but feel so happy she had so many years with her family. I was looking for family on my father’s side. His name was Chester S. Konkolewski, had a younger brother named Walter and his mother was Zofia (Sophie), father Stephan…I seem to remember my grandmother talk of Florence a lot. Cannot image there are too many Konkolewski’s with the same names but they may have been named with the same names for beloved relatives. Let me know if you have further information. But please accept my condolences even if you have never heard of my family link.
