Carmen Giron

Carmen Giron, nee Caballero, age 82, of Melrose Park, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home; beloved companion of Paul Prause for 35 years; loving mother of Leslie (Jeffrey) Webb, Edwin (Judy) Giron and Betsy (Adrian Serrano) Giron; proud grandmother of Erin, Natalie and Benjamin Webb, Marcus, Daniel, Lucas and Jacob Giron, Michael, David and Eric Serrano; dear sister of Rosita (Leon) Soto, Guadalupe (Enrique) Manjarrez, Ramon (Adrianna) Caballero and the late Joaquin (Irma) Caballero; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, December 5, 2018,  3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 6, 2018,  10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 819 North 16th Avenue, Melrose Park.
