David G. Plummer

David G. Plummer, age 78, was a longtime resident of both Elmhurst, IL and Naples, FL. Dave was the retired President of Elmhurst Federal Saving Bank and an active member of the Lions Club for over 25 years. He was also one of the original sponsors of The Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot. As a former member of the Elmhurst Planning and Zoning Committee, Dave loved his community, his family and friends. He was a lifelong fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a beloved husband of Sue, nee Severson, a loving father of Betsy, Jim (Beth) and Bob (Jessica) Plummer. He was a proud grandfather of David, Bobby, Annie, Landon and Tate Plummer and a dear brother of Mary Denzel, Pat (Burney) Wilken and Ralph (Mary) Plummer and a fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. David will be remembered by family and friends at a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South York Road (at Madison), Elmhurst.
