James P. Tyrrell, age 59, passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Chicago, he was born to the late Mary and the late Tom Tyrrell. A graduate of Taft High School, he spent most of his life in the Windy City, and went on to spend many years in industry where he was recognized as a natural-born salesman. Jim is survived by four children, Ceili, Meaghan, Ciara and Connor Tyrrell. He was a dear brother of Thomas, Candace T. (Donald) Pydo, John (Connie) and the late Kelly (Roseanne) Tyrrell; cherished uncle of Ryan (Keith Lipinski), Erin (Danny Conn), Caitlin, Donald (Mary) Pydo, Daniel (Michol) Pydo, Amanda (Andrew Grosdidier), Sean, Tess (Joel Shields), Hannah, and Nellie and great-uncle of many. Friends, family and others whose lives were touched by Jim are invited to meet for a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, September 8, 2018, 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 134 Arthur Street, Elmhurst.
