Joan K. Pezza, age 81, formerly of Berkeley, Immaculate Conception High School, Class of 1954; Graduate of Oak Park Nursing School; Former employee at RPW OBGYN for over 30 years; beloved wife of the late John L. “Dumbo” Pezza; loving mother of John (Grace), David (Paula), Peter (Debbie) and the late Thomas Pezza; proud grandmother of John (Lindsey), Robert (Kelly), Anthony, Matthew, David and Christopher Pezza, Mattia (Bryon) Melesio; Tara and Mikala Hartnett, Vanessa Pezza, Mark (Jen) and James (Kelly) O’Brien and Sarah and Peter Pezza; devoted great-grandmother of Autumn, Logan, Savannah and Lilly O’Brien, Lucy Melesio and Mila and  Marleigh Roberto; dear sister of Dotti (Andrew) Stefanak. Visitation Friday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral 9:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
