Burns, age 84, Veteran of USAF, member VFW, Wood Dale, retired Air Traffic Controller in the Aurora Control Center; beloved husband of Judy, nee Beach; loving father of Cynthia (the late Mykel) Maloney, Roxanne (Jim) Howard, Vanessa Wright and William E. Burns, Jr.; proud grandfather of Sara (Collin) Jacobs, Glenn Sam and Steven Wright and the late Jake DelPercio; cherished great-grandfather of Teagan Jacobs; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
