Leslie Ann Maly

Leslie Ann Maly, née Torrance, completed her life’s journey peacefully at her home at the age of 61. Leslie was the cherished daughter of the late Daniel and the late Mary Torrance; loving mother of Daniel (Shane Martins) Maly; dear sister of Sandra Lipscomb; devoted “Auntie” of William (Morgan) Brown and Scott (Laura) Brown; adoring great-aunt of Maggie, Jack, Finn, and Rief; fond friend of many whose lives she touched with kindness and compassion. Beloved for her warm spirit and enduring strength, Leslie enjoyed time spent with family, traveling, and caring for her rescue dogs, Buster and Charlee. With a lifelong career in customer service, her colleagues will treasure Leslie’s continuous encouragement and wisdom. Best remembered for her pride in her son, she leaves behind a vivid legacy of great love and resilience. Her family is grateful to all who cared for her on her journey. Oh, my heart is broken to find out that we’ve lost Leslie. We worked together at Delta in Schaumburg and shared an office as Supervisors. I adored working with her and loved hearing stories about Danny. Now Danny is a grown man and we are all older but 61 is not old enough to leave this earth. Cancer takes the best and leaves us shaking our heads and asking WHY ?? God has taken you home Leslie so you have won even though we all feel like humanity has lost a really good one. My sincere condolences to her family.

I feel so bad and shocked to hear this very sad news. Leslie was my Supervisor at Delta Air Lines and was always very kind. She was a very nice person and I’m sure she will be missed by many.

My heart is heavy with sadness. Leslie was my supervisor at Delta airlines in Schaumburg Illinois and I have such wonderful memories of her. She was sweet and kind and I could always make her laugh. Rest in peace, Leslie. You will be missed. Eileen Cushma. Lawrenceville, GA

God’s peace with you. Leslie’s quiet and easy going manner was a treasure at Delta Air Lines. Her son Danny was her pride and joy. During this difficult time, I wish for the family God’s abundance of Grace, Mercy and Favor.

So very sorry to hear of Leslie’s passing. We became friends on a flight to Atlanta,
enroute to our Delta interviews. I will always remember her kindness that day, and for many years during our time in the Schaumburg office. Rest in peace friend.
