James R. Friese

James R. Friese, age 67, suddenly, of Powers Lake, formerly Orland Park; loving father of Derek Friese and Kimberly (Shawn) Fahey; proud grandfather of Delaney Friese and Emma and Jake Fahey; dear brother of Robert and Donald Friese; former spouse of Donna Friese; beloved son of late Robert and late Rosemary Friese; wonderful friend to all who knew him.  Visitation Sunday, 3:00 p.m.  until 8:00 p.m.   and Monday, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral 9:15 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home,  134 South York Road, (½  mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.  Mass 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.     Jim, you were not only a friend, boss and partner to me but also a brother I did not have. You took pride in everything you did protective of your son and daughter, more importantly you cared for and generous with your friends. You welcomed us to your house; your office door was always open to me at work. Your were a man of principles, believed in hard work, not afraid of admitting mistakes made. I know we will meet again in a golf course, around a poker table, holding nice juicy hamburger and cold beer watching ball games and talking about our grand kids ……… Love, Sidney

    Jim I was so honored to have met you a couple of times that I did you were an amazing man that created two amazing children and every time I seen you you were the gloating Grandfather you’ll always be missed but you will always be with them at their sides and in their hearts forever gone too soon
