Ralph G. Ryan, MD, age 91, formerly of Elmhurst, currently of Naples, FL; beloved husband of the late Katherine K. Ryan, nee Kerwin; loving father of Ralph G. (Denise), Edward M. (Mary), Cecilia R. (Carl) D’Acquisto, Kathleen M. (Joseph Vallely), Mary D. (Thomas) Morin, Joseph K. (Jessica), Paul D. (Julia) and Elizabeth R. (Burk) Murray; proud grandfather of 33 and great-grandfather of 44; dear Brother of Maryjeanne (Richard) Burke and John (the late Mimi) Ryan. Ralph was the founding partner of RPW Obstetrics and Gynecology. He joyfully practiced medicine with John Picchietti and the late James Watts. He would go on to participate in the deliveries of over 8500 babies at Elmhurst Hospital until 1984. Visitation Monday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery.
