Samek, nee Kovac, age 99, formerly of Elmhurst, beloved wife of the late Thomas J.; loving mother of Pamela (the late Cecil) Gatewood, Thomas (Michele) Samek and the late Cheryl (Larry) Robish; proud grandma of Brian Gatewood, Debbie (Mark) Hindsley, Brian (Fiancé Erika Mulholland) Gatewood, Leslie (Fiancé Joe Prokop) Geberbauer, Christine Geberbauer, Thomas and Justine Samek; cherished great-grandma of Kristin and Kyleigh Hindsley and Evan and Andrew Gatewood; preceded in death by 11 siblings; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
