Lois A. Maddalone

Lois A. Maddalone, nee Young, age 94, beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of Gregory and  Bruce (Janie) Maddalone and Peggy Datoli; proud grandma of 12, great-grandma and great-great-grandma of many; dear sister of Florence Mosher and Judy Elyea and sister-in-law of Mary Young and Nancy Caliendo; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Sunday, January 18, 2015, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.  Interment Private.  For funeral information please call 630-832-0018 or www.gibbonsfuneralhome.com

    What a wonderful Blessed life she had, her legacy is the loving family she raised with her beloved George. It is awe-inspiring to hear the love and adoration you all have for her. George and I wish we could be there with you as you honor her life and memory this week. Please know each one of you are in our hearts and prayers. Jesus promises us He will wipe away all our tears…but first you must cry…I know you will all hold each other up because that is what she taught you to do…She was a very strong woman. The light of Christ shown through all that she was and all that she did. Death is not an end, it is the beginning of a much longer journey…it is eternal, it is what we are promised, let you Faith bring a smile to your faces and Peace to your hearts!
