Donna A. Mansueto, age 52, beloved mother of Anthony and Amanda Mansueto; dear sister of Laura (Terry) Johnson; cherished daughter of Margaret Bunting; dear niece of the late Carol Ann (John) Agnos; aunt of Dennis and Sarah Johnson; cousin of Loretta and Dennis (Vicki) Agnos; former spouse of Bill Mansueto; friend and relative of many.  Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.  For funeral information please call 630-832-0018 or www.gibbonsfuneralhome.com

    Donna was my sweet friend, at peace now in the arms of Jesus. I pray God’s deep comfort for all of us who loved her, especially Tony, Amanda, and her dear mother, Margaret.

    I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more meaningful funeral service. I am thankful that Donna is no longer dealing with any pain and difficulties and also very happy to know she had been practicing her deep spiritual beliefs and had God’s presence in her life. I wish I could have stood up and said something about our many years of friendship and how much I loved her, but my emotions got in the way. The wonderful sendoff for her also gave me the opportunity to reconnect with so many others who felt the same way about her and I am grateful for all of the kind words, love and support we shared. Tony and Amanda, please know that I’m always here for you and am so proud and in awe of the amazing young adults you’ve become.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a fun loving wonderful person before she became ill. She loved her family. She will always be with you. The suffering is over.
