Raymond F. Coyne, Jr., age 90, resident of Mayslake Village, Oak Brook, formerly of Westmont, Elmwood Park and Chicago; Ray is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann, nee Sallans, and his children, Raymond (Mary Madden) Coyne and Peggy Horan. Eternally loved by his grandchildren, Heather Horan, Holly Horan, Raymond (Kristin) Coyne, Kathleen (Nicholas) Prause, Michael Coyne, and Bridget Coyne; and his great grandchildren, Sloane Prause, Kara Coyne, and Napoleon Prause. Cherished son of the late Raymond and the late Helen, nee Meyer, Coyne, fond brother of Thomas (Patricia) Coyne and Robert (the late Janet) Coyne. Ray graduated from St. Viator’s and St. Mel’s with fond memories of the West Side. Serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, he celebrated his 21st birthday in Australia. He was an officer at the National Bank of Austin, Oak Park Trust & Savings Bank, Plaza Bank, and Algonquin State Bank. He was always armed with a joke.
