Thomas A. O’Carroll, age 85, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Native of Co. Limerick, Ireland, Army Veteran of the Korean War; beloved husband of Eileen, nee Sullivan; loving father of Daniel (Gail), Kevin (Maureen), Brian (Meghan) and the late Thomas (Rebecca); proud grandfather of Brendan, Melissa, Sarah, Michael, Colin, Megan, Tommy and Declan and great-grandfather of Tommy; dear brother of Marie (the late Roger) McNamara and the late Paddy (the late Maura), Donal (Betty) and Aileen; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral 9:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
