Winifred M. “Winnie” Blaha, nee Sampey, age 92, of Lombard, formerly of Chicago, former parishioner Our Lady Help of Christians; active member of AMVETS Women’s Auxillary, Ted Knusman Post #13; beloved wife of the late Paul T. and the late Robert T. Hawley; loving mother of Nancy (Tom) Kinsella, Joanne (John) Howlett, Thomas (Suanne), James and Robert (Missy); proud grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of many; dear sister of Catherine Kelly, Patricia Collins and the late Margaret Newell, James Sampey and Bernadette Redmond and sister-in-law of Virginia DiFebo and Olive Hawley; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Monday, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral 9:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
