John A. Imbra, age 88, Army Veteran of WWII with service in three campaigns; After returning from the war in 1946, John was signed by the Cubs Organization and played second base in the minor leagues for 8 years; Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Ann, nee Dion, for 52 years; loving brother of Mariano (the late Kathryn) Imbraguglio, the late Anthony ( the late Marjorie) Imbraguglio and Salvatore Imbra; dear brother-in law of Dolores (the late Walter) Sindewald and Edward (Marcella) Dion; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; cherished friend of many. John had numerous friends and family that he enjoyed spending time with. He will be missed by them all.
