Jean E. Payne, 84, of Elmhurst, formerly of Bellwood, an amazing woman of faith and a beautiful example of sacrificial love, Beloved  and devoted wife of the late Richard F., loving  mother of the late Richard F. II (Laura), Kathleen (Richard) Kammenzind, Nancy (the late James) Askwith, Mary (William) Kindelin, Maureen (John) Ward, Joseph (Catherine), Daniel (Eva), Suzanne, Margaret
(Matthew) Schuten, Eileen (Brian) Couri; cherished grandmother of 65; loving great-grandmother of 30; dear sister of Mary Ellen (Robert) Quinn, Sr. Patricia Robinson, BVM, Elizabeth (the late Roland) Schuck, Daniel (the late Glenda) Robinson and Grace (Joseph) Barney;  loving aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews; dear cousin-in-law of Donald (Gerry) Wing and the late Mary and (the lateHenry) Camire; and fond cousin to many. In family and in business Mom had a wonderful sense of humor and a calm that
came from her close relationship with Our Lord.  Visitation Thursday January 23, 3-9 PM and Friday January 24, 9:30-11:30 AM at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Rd., (1/2 mile N. of St. Charles Rd.), Elmhurst.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 Noon at Visitation Church, 779 S York Rd, Elmhurst.  Graveside Service  Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
