    Dear Hagerty Family,

My family sends our prayers and deepest sympathies to you.
We are terribly saddened by Jim’s passing.
I have several fond memories of Jim – he was my “big” brother in high school, a supportive pen-pal during the trying college years away from home and a fun co-worker at the CBOT. And always a dear friend.
Jim always had a warm smile and an intelligent remark that made any “bad” day better -always better!
    Jim will be deeply missed.
Love to all of your families,
    Susan Browning-Gordon

To the entire Hagerty family, our hearts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of such a beautiful and vibrant life; your family’s bookend.

Those of us who were lucky enough to cross paths with “Uncle Jimmy” during his visits to Saint Louis will forever be touched by his charm and playfulness, and the special bond and devotion he held for each and every member of his family. In honor of Jim, may we follow his example by holding each of our family members closely to our hearts, and may we surround our nieces and nephews with unconditional love, as he did so honorably.

    With love,

    The Divine Family
    Jay, Kim, Josh and Maddie

    Dear Hagerty Family,
I was saddened to hear of Jim’s passing and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with this tremendous loss of one of you own. To my old buddy, Ed and his older brother, Jack – sending you both a hug and condolences personally because I knew you both going through High School together -I know this will be difficult and although I will not be able to attend services I will think of you and hope to be in touch in the near future.
May God hold your family in his arms gently as you deal with this loss,

    Gina
